In Such Embrace - Enter the Shaking
VBT Verse 72
The Sutra
"When in such embrace your senses are shaken as leaves, enter this shaking."
Paul Reps translation, Zen Flesh, Zen Bones (1957)
Understanding
During intense embrace, the body trembles. The senses shake like leaves in wind. Most people resist this trembling or let it pass unconsciously. This technique says: ENTER the shaking. Merge with it completely. The trembling is energy freeing itself from the body. When you enter it fully instead of controlling it, the energy floods upward and becomes bliss.
Original Sanskrit

Vijnanabhairava Verse 72 (Technique 49 of 112)
How to Practice
During moments of intense embrace or physical connection, notice the trembling that arises.
The body may shake, the breath may quiver, the senses feel overwhelmed.
Do not resist this shaking. Do not try to control it.
ENTER the shaking. Let yourself be the trembling itself. No controller, no controlled.
When you become the shaking completely, the energy is freed from its usual patterns.
This freed energy rises and becomes awareness, bliss, expanded consciousness.
