- Algorithm results (recommended Bhairava form, tier path selection)
This data is used exclusively to generate your personalised results and is stored securely for your future access through your account.

- Transaction identifiers (payment ID, order ID)
- Payment amount and currency
- Payment status and timestamp
- Country of origin (for currency determination)
2.4 Usage Data
- Japa (mantra chanting) counter statistics and session history
- Pages visited and features used
- Browser type and version
- Device type (desktop, mobile, tablet)
- Referral URLs
2.5 Technical Data
- IP address: used for geographic pricing determination (India vs international) and security purposes
- Geolocation headers: provided by CDN services (Cloudflare, Vercel) for country-level detection only; we do not track precise location
3. How We Use Your Information

- Service delivery: Operating the Platform, generating Life Purpose Algorithm results, tracking japa sessions, and managing your account
- Payment processing: Processing transactions and preventing fraudulent activity
- Geographic pricing: Determining whether to display INR (Instamojo) or GBP (Stripe) pricing based on your country
- Transactional communications: Sending payment confirmations, password reset emails, and account-related notifications
- Newsletter: Sending spiritual content updates and platform announcements (opt-in only; you may unsubscribe at any time)
- Platform improvement: Analysing usage patterns to improve content, features, and user experience

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes. We do not use your questionnaire responses or algorithm results for any purpose other than providing you with your personalised results.
4. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate the Platform. Each service processes data in accordance with their own privacy policies:
Firebase (Google)
User authentication and account management. Data shared: email, name, authentication tokens.
Stripe
International payment processing (outside India). Data shared: transaction amount, currency, user identifier. Stripe is PCI-DSS Level 1 certified.
Instamojo
Payment processing for users in India. Data shared: transaction amount, currency, user identifier.
Brevo (formerly Sendinblue)
Transactional emails (payment confirmations, password resets) and newsletter delivery. Data shared: email, first name.
Vercel
Frontend application hosting and content delivery. Data shared: standard web request data (IP address, browser headers).
Neon (PostgreSQL)
Secure database hosting for all platform data. Data stored: all account, questionnaire, payment, and usage data in encrypted storage.
Railway
Backend application hosting. Data processed: all API requests pass through Railway's infrastructure.
We only share the minimum data necessary for each service to perform its function. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of these third-party services for more information about their data practices.
5. Social Media and Content Publishing
We maintain official accounts on social media platforms including Pinterest, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube to share educational and devotional content related to Bhairava worship and Hindu spirituality.
5.1 Content Publishing
- We do not access, collect, or store any personal data of social media users through these APIs
- We do not post to or access any user accounts other than our own official accounts
- We do not use social media platform data for advertising, profiling, or tracking purposes

We take the security of your data seriously and implement the following measures:
- Encryption in transit: All data transmitted between your browser and our servers is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS
- Secure authentication: User authentication is handled by Firebase (Google), which employs industry-standard security practices. We never store passwords on our servers
- Payment security: Payment card data is handled exclusively by certified processors (Stripe and Instamojo) and never enters our systems
- Database security: Our database is hosted on Neon's secure cloud infrastructure with encryption at rest
- Access controls: Access to user data is restricted to essential operations and authorised personnel only
While we implement commercially reasonable security measures, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data, but we are committed to protecting it to the best of our ability.
7. Data Retention
We retain your personal data for the following periods:
- Account data: Retained for as long as your account remains active. Upon account deletion, personal data is removed within 30 days
- Algorithm results: Retained for as long as your account is active, to provide you with ongoing access to your results history
- Payment records: Retained for a minimum of 8 years from the date of transaction, as required by Indian tax and financial regulations
- Japa statistics: Retained for as long as your account is active; deleted upon account deletion
- Contact form submissions: Retained for up to 2 years for support reference purposes
- Newsletter subscriptions: Retained until you unsubscribe; email removed from mailing list upon unsubscription
Certain data may be retained beyond these periods where required by law, regulation, or legitimate business interests (such as dispute resolution or fraud prevention).
8. Your Rights
You have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Right to Access: You can view your personal data through your account dashboard. You can also request a complete export of your data in JSON format through the Account settings
- Right to Correction: You can update your personal information (name, email) through your account settings at any time
- Right to Deletion: You can request deletion of your account and associated data through the Account settings. Upon deletion, your personal data will be removed within 30 days, except for data we are legally required to retain (such as payment records for tax compliance)
- Right to Data Portability: You can export your data in a machine-readable format (JSON) through the Account settings
- Right to Unsubscribe: You can unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time using the unsubscribe link in any newsletter email or through your account preferences
- Right to Withdraw Consent: Where processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing performed prior to withdrawal

9. Cookies and Local Storage
The Platform uses the following browser storage mechanisms:
- Authentication tokens: Firebase authentication tokens stored in browser storage (localStorage/sessionStorage) to maintain your login session
- Session data: Temporary session data (such as in-progress questionnaire responses) stored in sessionStorage for a seamless user experience
- User preferences: Your display and notification preferences
We do not use third-party tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or analytics cookies that track you across other websites. We do not participate in any cross-site tracking or advertising networks.
10. Children's Privacy
The Life Purpose Algorithm service is restricted to individuals aged 18 years and older. We verify age during the questionnaire process and do not knowingly process Life Purpose Algorithm data for users under 18.
General educational and devotional content on the Platform (stotras, articles, philosophical texts) is accessible without age restriction and does not require the collection of personal data.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal data from a child under 13, we will take prompt steps to delete such information. 11. International Data Transfers
Our Platform serves users globally. Your data may be processed and stored in regions where our service providers operate, including but not limited to the United States (Firebase/Google, Vercel, Stripe), India (Instamojo), and the European Union (Brevo, Neon).
When your data is transferred to countries outside your country of residence, we ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place. Our third-party service providers maintain compliance with applicable data protection regulations in their respective jurisdictions.
