The Sutra
"Whenever your attention alights, at this very point, experience."
Paul Reps translation, Zen Flesh, Zen Bones (1957)
Understanding
Attention is always landing somewhere - on a sound, a sight, a thought, a sensation. Usually we move from one landing point to the next without truly being present at any of them. This technique says: wherever attention naturally comes to rest, at that very point, experience fully. Do not chase the next thing. The place where attention lands is already the doorway to the divine. Total presence at any point is meditation.

How to Practice
Sit or move about normally. Notice where your attention naturally goes.
The moment attention lands on anything - a sound, a color, a sensation, a thought - stop there.
Do not move to the next thing. Stay at this very point and experience it completely.
Let the experience deepen. What seemed ordinary becomes extraordinarily vivid when met with total attention.
When attention moves again, let it land somewhere new, and repeat: at this very point, experience.
Over time, every moment becomes meditation because wherever attention goes, presence follows.
