अर्धनारीनटेश्वरस्तोत्रम्

चाम्पेयगौरार्धशरीरकायै कर्पूरगौरार्धशरीरकाय । धम्मिल्लकायै च जटाधराय नमः शिवायै च नमः शिवाय ॥
Transliteration
cāmpeyagaurārdhaśarīrakāyai karpūragaurārdhaśarīrakāya | dhammillakāyai ca jaṭādharāya namaḥ śivāyai ca namaḥ śivāya ||
Translation
To her whose half-body is fair as champaka flower, to him whose half-body is fair as camphor, to her with beautiful braided hair and to him bearing matted hair, salutations to Shivaa (Parvati) and salutations to Shiva!
Deep Meaning
Half of the body is Parvati, white like the champak flower, and half is Shankara, white like camphor. Parvati wears her hair in a braid, and Shankara wears matted locks. Salutation to Parvati and to Shankara, the Lord.

kastūrikākuṅkumacarcitāyai citārajaḥpuñjavicarcitāya | kṛtasmarāyai vikṛtasmarāya namaḥ śivāyai ca namaḥ śivāya ||
Translation
To her anointed with musk and saffron, to him smeared with heaps of funeral pyre ashes, to her who revives Kamadeva and to him who destroyed Kamadeva, salutations to Shivaa and salutations to Shiva!

calatkvaṇatkaṅkaṇanūpurāyai pādābjarājatphaṇinūpurāya | hemāṅgadāyai bhujagāṅgadāya namaḥ śivāyai ca namaḥ śivāya ||
Translation
To her with moving jingling bangles and anklets, to him with serpents shining as anklets on lotus-feet, to her with golden armlets and to him with serpent armlets, salutations to Shivaa and salutations to Shiva!

Translation
To her with eyes like large blue lotuses, to him with eyes like blooming lotuses, to her with two (even) eyes and to him with three (odd) eyes, salutations to Shivaa and salutations to Shiva!

Translation
To her whose hair is adorned with mandara garlands, to him whose neck is marked by skull-garlands, to her clad in divine garments and to him clad in space (unclothed), salutations to Shivaa and salutations to Shiva!

To her with hair dark like rainclouds, to him with reddish matted hair gleaming like lightning, to her who has no superior and to him who is Lord of all, salutations to Shivaa and salutations to Shiva!

etat paṭhed aṣṭakam iṣṭadaṃ yo bhaktyā sa mānyo bhuvi dīrghajīvī | prāpnoti saubhāgyam anantakālaṃ bhūyāt sadā tasya samastasiddhiḥ ||
Translation
Whoever recites with devotion this octave that grants desires becomes honoured on earth, long-lived, obtains fortune for infinite time, and attains all accomplishments forever.
