⏰ Best Timing:

  • Early morning (Brahma Muhurta: 4-6 AM) is most powerful

🚿 Personal Preparation:

  • Take a bath (snaana). Recite "Om Apavitrah Pavitro Va..." while bathing for purification
  • Wear clean clothes, preferably yellow, white, or gold-colored if possible
  • Choose a quiet, clean space free from disturbances
  • Face North or East while seated (prosperity directions)
  • Silence mobile phone and remove distractions
  • Calm the mind with a few deep breaths before beginning

Asana: Sukhasana (easy pose) or Vajrasana (thunderbolt pose) on a clean mat or blanket

Pranayama: Three to five minutes of slow, deep abdominal breathing. Inhale through the nose for 4 counts, hold briefly, exhale for 6 counts.

Achamana (Purification Sips)

Take water in your right palm. Sip three small amounts while reciting three names. After each sip, touch your lips. This purifies body, speech, and mind.

Meaning: Salutations to Keshava (first sip). Salutations to Narayana (second sip). Salutations to Madhava (third sip). Then wash both hands saying Salutations to Govinda.

Meaning: Salutations to the Gold-attractor at the heart. To Bhairava at the forehead. To the Wealth-giver at the crown. To the Bestower of Prosperity at the chest. To the Releaser from Debt at the eyes.

Join palms (anjali mudra). State your name and intention. The formal sankalpa declares your purpose before the divine.

Meaning: Om Vishnu Vishnu Vishnu. For the destruction of all accumulated sins and for the pleasure of Shri Swarnākarṣaṇa Bhairava, I perform this puja to the best of my ability.

Close your eyes and visualize Swarnākarṣaṇa Bhairava. See a radiant, golden-hued deity, luminous and gracious. He carries golden vessels symbolizing abundance. His presence fills the space with golden light and the energy of prosperity.

ध्यायेत्स्वर्णप्रभं महाकालं स्वर्णाकर्षणभैरवम्। सुवर्णवर्णसम्पन्नं धनधान्यप्रदायकम्॥

Dhyāyet Svarṇaprabhaṁ Mahākālaṁ Svarṇākarṣaṇabhairavam | Suvarṇavarṇasampannaṁ Dhanadhānyapradāyakam ||

Meaning: Meditate upon the golden-radiant deity, Swarnākarṣaṇa Bhairava. Endowed with golden complexion, the bestower of wealth and abundance.

Meaning: I offer incense for fragrance. I show the light of the lamp.
