The Sutra
"This consciousness is the spirit of guidance of each one. Be this one."
Paul Reps translation, Zen Flesh, Zen Bones (1957)
Understanding
Consciousness does not just exist as each being - it actively guides each being. It is the intelligence that grows a seed into a tree, that tells a bird when to migrate, that beats your heart 100,000 times a day without your effort. This inner guidance is consciousness itself. BE this one - not the guided one, but the guiding consciousness. You are not the puppet but the intelligence that moves the puppet.
Original Sanskrit

Vijnanabhairava Verse 107 (Technique 84 of 112)
How to Practice
Sit quietly and notice all the things happening in your body without your effort - breathing, heartbeat, digestion.
Recognize the intelligence guiding these processes. It is not you thinking them into happening - they are guided by consciousness itself.
Now expand: see this same guiding intelligence in everything around you - in the growth of trees, movement of clouds, behavior of animals.
This guiding spirit is ONE consciousness operating through all forms.
Shift your identity: you are not the body being guided. You are the consciousness that guides.
Be this one - the spirit of guidance, the intelligence behind all forms and movements.
