The mind operates on three levels - conscious, subconscious, superconscious. Baba does not reside merely in the physical realm. His presence exists in higher dimensions, sending signals through the subtle bodies.

The Mind of a Sadhaka: Baba's Philosophy of Life in Its True Dimension

The Pattern of Three

Look at the bilva-patra we offer to Baba - it always carries three leaves. Observe the Shiva-linga: it has three parts - the linga itself, the base of Shakti surrounding it, and the hidden root beneath. Reflect on the three gunas - Sattva, Rajas, and Tamas - that govern all life. See the trident (trisula) in Baba's hand, or the three gods - Brahma, Vishnu, and Mahesa. Even the Gayatri mantra has three phases, each of eight syllables, making twenty-four in total.

The sacred thread (yajnopavita) too is woven of three strands.

The Three Levels of Mind

This cosmic pattern also mirrors the working of the mind. It operates on three levels:

  1. Conscious Mind - The part that thinks, decides, and acts in the present moment - like choosing food, reading a book, or solving a problem.

  2. Subconscious Mind - The hidden storehouse of memories, habits, and impressions (samskaras). It is why we act automatically in certain ways without thinking.

  3. Superconscious Mind - The higher, luminous state that gives intuition, inner guidance, creative sparks, and the wisdom that feels like it comes from beyond us.

Yet just as there is an upward journey, there is also a downward pull. Beyond the conscious lies not only the subconscious but also deeper layers: the unconscious and the super-unconscious - shadowed states that drag one away from light. A sadhaka must learn to rise, not fall.

The Three Bodies

In yogic language, these three levels of the mind correspond to the three bodies:

  • Sthula Sharira - the physical body
  • Sukshma Sharira - the subtle body, the mind-stuff
  • Karana Sharira - the causal body, the gateway to the superconscious

Where Baba Resides

Baba does not reside merely in the physical realm where we work, walk, and speak. His presence exists in higher dimensions. From those heights, he can descend and enter our world,

but the question is - can we perceive him? Can we understand the message he wishes to give? Or do other unseen forces interfere with our perception?

The Highway of Life

This is where sadhana becomes essential. It puts you in the driver's seat of your own consciousness. Imagine life as a highway: the higher realms guide you with signals - sometimes a green light urging you forward, sometimes a red light asking you to stop. These signals come first from the karana sharira, pass into the sukshma sharira, and finally reach the conscious mind. If we are alert, we receive them clearly. If not, the higher forces repeat the message until we finally understand.

But such awareness does not come overnight - it takes years of steady sadhana to recognize these divine signals in their first subtle whisper.

Beyond Logic

At this point, ordinary logic and intellectual reasoning no longer serve. The language of these realms penetrates psychological depths where modern science has not yet reached. It is not placebo. The events that unfold in a sadhaka's life are too precise, too consistent, too extraordinary to dismiss as chance. When they occur, the rational mind falters, unable to categorize them.

The Ground of Truth

This is the ground where Mahanayaka Baba stands - the point where modern intellect fails, but higher truth begins. He is the Nayaka of Nayakas - the supreme leader before even creation itself. He is Mahakala Bhairava Natha, the God before gods, the one before whom even deities bow. Salutations to the Mahanayaka, our beloved Baba. And after him, salutations to the one who reigns in his kingdom - Maa Adhyakali Mahamaya, the great Mother of all.
